Show wins-
This beautiful "Blue Eyed" doe is a very sharp and angular doe with thin dairy skin. Her udder is tightly attached even at 12 years young! She has particularly nice texture and nice sized teats making her so easy to milk. 2002 was a great year for her and we are still so proud of Moon Dancer. She had earned her milk star during her 2002 lactation and also 1st place in the Michigan DHI placings for Nigerians. She was 1st in all three catagories, Milk production, Butterfat and Protein earning us the title of: "Michigan's All Time Breed Leader". And to add the icing on the cake, Moon Dancer placed 7th for Butterfat and 9th for Protein in the American Goat Society's "Top Ten" Milk Production Awards. Moondancer has consistantly produced very nice kids and in the fall of 2006, just short of turning 12 years old, Moondancer presented us with a set of beautiful twin does. Way to go Moondancer!! |
