***2003 AGS National Grand Champion Buck***
Kaapio Acre's BB Red Butt'ler *S
|
Birth Date: March 27,2002 Show wins: 1 x National Grand Champion, 3 X Grand Champion, 1 x Reserve Champion, 6 X 1st
Sire: Rosasharn B'Udder Boy
Dam: Gay-Mor's RA Nesselrode *D AR1689
Well what can we say about Red, that he hasn't already stated himself? We are so very proud of this buck, he has surpassed even our wildest dreams for him. Starting out with winning his first Grand Champion leg as a Jr. at only 12 weeks old last year to winning his 2nd this spring. Then he ended our 2003 show season by not only winning his 3rd Grand Champion leg for his Master Champion status. Red also captured the 2003 AGS National Champion title as a yearling buck with very tough competition in the show ring. "Update on Red's MCH status" The board of directors at AGS has made the decision to remove Red's MCH title. It is a decision we strongly disagree with and it is our opinion that due to the turmoil AGS was involved in at the time of Red's wins, the paperwork can not be found to prove the wins were official. In trying to be in line with AGS policies we have removed the MCH on Red's information on our website. But no matter what, Red will always be a Master Champion in our hearts! |

HES: N/A Sire: Caesar's Villa FD Sugar Foot *S Dam: Jeanne's Jewel Opal Gunner, as we call him, is a buck who excels in General Appearance. He
has a level top line, is very smoothly blended and stands on some of the
best legs, pasterns and feet that we have seen in the Nigerian breed. The
judges agree with us as they have many times made comments on how nice
they are! He has nice length, width and depth of body making him a very
balanced individual. Gunner is a special buck around here being a gift
from a good friend of ours Sandra Mason to whom we dedicate all of his
accomplishments to. His latest being the first place Sire and Son with
Sugar Foot his sire at the 2007 NDGA National Show. Gunner has moved on to a new home and we will miss him. We hope he continues to produce outstanding offspring for his new owners. |

Kaapio Acre's RA Rocket Man AI *S
|
Birth Date: February 6, 2002 Show wins: 2 X Grand Champion, 2 X Reserve Grand Champion
Sire: Stonewall's Raising Arizona +S
Dam: Woodhaven Farms Moon Dancer E *D AR1690
Rocket Man is an awesome buck who stole our hearts away the minute he was born. He is one of triplets and our very first try at Artificial Insemenation. We are very pleased With the kids that were produced from this breeding. Rocket Man attended his very first show in June of 2002 winning 1st and 2nd place in his class both days and then went on to win Grand Champion Buck in the first show and Reserve Champion in the Second. Not bad for a youngster that was only 4 months old! This year's show season Rocket captured another Grand Champion and Reserve Champion win to his credit. His Dam won the 2002 Michigan title of All time Breed Leader in milk production and went on to make the AGS Top Ten list in the milk production awards. This was her first time on milk test and she earned her star with flying colors! Rocket Man has moved out to Colorado and we wish his new owners the best with him. He will be missed but his legacy will carry on here in his daughters. |

| Birth Date:5/12/07 Color: Buckskin w/white poll Show Wins: Not Shown Yet Sire: Rosasharn TF Honey Bear *S Dam: ARMCH Rosasharn's TL Arwen 8*D Though this isn't the greatest picture of Chewbacca, you can see the dairy character this boy has. He is sharp, angular, flat boned and open. We are pleased to add the genetics this buck carries into our herd. Thanks once again to Anne of Rosasharn Farm for selling Chewy to us. Due to the fact that we have a few too many bucks and Andy is closely related to Chewy, we made the decision to sell Chewbacca. His new home is awesome and I'm sure he will like having warm winters! |

Birth Date:3/27/03 HES: N/A
Sire: Caesar's Villa PN Fiddler *S
Dam: ARMCH Caesar's Villa STS Suthrn Bell 2*D
Sugar Foot is a very diary buck who is angular, flat boned and has that thin dairy skin. He has nice length, width and depth of body making him a very balanced individual. Sugar Foot's first kids are on the ground here at Kaapio Acres and at Kaapio Acres North and we are very pleased! He has not disappointed us, his kids are very dairy with level top lines and only one buck out of the bunch !!! What more could we ask for? Sugar Foot was shown for the first time at the 2007 NDGA National Show and we were not disappointed. He was 1st in his class in three of the shows and the fourth show he was second. And Sugar Foot and his son Smokin Gun placed 1st in the Sire and Son group class. Sugar Foot has moved on to his new home. He has left us with some beautiful daughters and we hope he produces the same for his new owners. |

Woodhaven Farms
Moondancer *D December 17, 1994 - August 28,2010
Sire: Storybook Zoser
Show wins-
This beautiful "Blue Eyed" doe is a very sharp and angular doe with thin dairy skin. Her udder is tightly attached even at 12 years young! She has particularly nice texture and nice sized teats making her so easy to milk. 2002 was a great year for her and we are still so proud of Moon Dancer. She had earned her milk star during her 2002 lactation and also 1st place in the Michigan DHI placings for Nigerians. She was 1st in all three catagories, Milk production, Butterfat and Protein earning us the title of: "Michigan's All Time Breed Leader". And to add the icing on the cake, Moon Dancer placed 7th for Butterfat and 9th for Protein in the American Goat Society's "Top Ten" Milk Production Awards. Moondancer has consistantly produced very nice kids and in the fall of 2006, just short of turning 12 years old, Moondancer presented us with a set of beautiful twin does. Way to go Moondancer!!
We have retired Moondancer so she is being pampered and living the
good life at Kaapio Acre's . We are thankful for the years of service she
gave to our breeding program. At almost 15 years old, she is still doing well.
We call her Grandma now and she has well earned a life of leisure.
It's a sad day here at the farm, we lost our precious Moondancer. At
almost 16 years old she left us. Gone but never forgotten, we will miss you
Grandma!

Birth Date: 3/30/00
Sire: Brush Creek Grand Larceny
Dam:MCH Willows April Morning
Show Wins: Not yet shown Spring has awesome dairy character, being very angular with flat bone and loose pliable skin. Her mammary has excellent quality, texture and capacity. It is well attached with a wide rear udder and a smooth fore udder. An excellent medial suspensory ligament seperates the two halfs of her udder. Her teats are well placed and nice sized making her easy to milk. It broke our hearts to lose Grand Spring due to kidding problems in the Spring of 2009. We will miss her terribly and are thankful to her for leaving us with two beautiful daughters before she passed on. We will always remember her when we watch her daughters maturing. |
